THE LORD SET MATURITY DATE
Exodus 9: 1-12
The Lord God sent the warning of death to Pharaoh who was not listening to the word of Moses. A worning in term. What was the reaction of Pharaoh?
1) The warning which cautions against life of herd
God sent the warning of the death of the animals, but this warning of death was limited to the life of the herd.
2) The warning which cautions against lives of men
The Lord God sends a warning to Pharaoh. Until now the magicians did to Moses and Aaron competition for wonders, but they could not do anything now, they fell to the ground because of the scope of the 6th plague, ulcer. Even if they are living, their life was threatened. Tu us also sometimes God sends the warning, so that through this warning we can return from sin. At the same time, God teaches us that the consequence of sin is death. Despite this warning, we repeat our disobedience, even if it leads to death. So it is very wise that from the first small warnings we are beware of ourselves and obey the Lord. Do you have the opportunity to receive this kind of warnings from God?
Prayer: Lord, we give you thanks that you are not saving warnings, so that we are not hardened and not let run to sin and death, but please make your tocsin sound louder to governors of this world, who, even feeling the impending judgment, continue to disobey God
One Word: lend your ears to tocsin before that become death knell
