Ez 48: 1-35

Ez 47 is a chapter that describes the arrival of the Holy Spirit within Israel. Israel lived 70 years of captivity in Babylon. They lost the Holy Spirit. For the return from Babylon, God foretold the gentle but powerful arrival of the Holy Spirit. When they thought of returning home, in their thinking various feelings may be crossed. What to do when we'll arrive in the country? Especially the devastated country would have given them the great discouragement. But God said they must first wait for the coming of God. So God foretold the arrival of the Holy Spirit. When we return to the country of fail (to the experiences of the failed past) we must first look for the benevolent coming of God. Then God sends his Holy Spirit so that we start a new work of God. At first very few fruit similar to the depth of ankle, but the end it will be remarkable, so much as by power of the Holy Spirit, we are risky to drowning. This would be the state, as we sing, where because of the Holy Spirit, His glory fills the universe as the waters cover the sea.

After predicting the coming of the Holy Spirit, the book of Ezekiel ends with the word on the division of the territory among the tribes of Israel. Perhaps it is a primary task of returning people. But before this physical and material work, the people needed the Holy Spirit. Anyway, in this division we find a singular structure that said border of a tribe from the east to the west. This would be the writing direction of the Hebrews from right to left. This is where the temple of God remains. For God's people, the right concept of time and space is important. Just like that, the time must spin for a Christian around Sunday, i.e. Sabbath. Ex 16b describes the Sabbath in Israel. It has three objectives: first to break away from worldly affairs, then to worship God and renew the soul soiled and hurt and finally to read spiritual books and visit those who need the Lord to renew the soul with each other. Ez 47 est un chapitre qui décrit l'arrivée du Saint-Esprit au sein d'Israël. Israël vécut 70 ans la captivité en Babylone. Ils perdirent le Saint-Esprit. Du retour de Babylone, Dieu prédit l'arrivée douce mais puissante du Saint-Esprit. Quand ils pensèrent à retourner au pays, il se peut que dans leur pensée, diverses sentiments se croisaient. Que faire en arrivant au pays? Surtout le pays dévasté leur aurait donné le grande découragement. Mais Dieu dit qu'il faut d'abord s'attendre à la venue de Dieu. Dieu prédit donc l'arrivé du Saint-Esprit. Quand nous sommes de retour au pays d'échec (aux expériences du passé échoué) nous devons d'abord chercher la venue bienveillante de Dieu. Alors Dieu envoie son Esprit Saint pour que nous entamions une nouvelle oeuvre de Dieu. Au début très peu de fruit semblable à la profondeur de cheville, mais la fin sera remarquable, à tel point que par force du Saint-Esprit, nous sommes risqués de faire une noyade. Ce serait l'état où, comme nous chatons, le Saint-Esprit venant, Sa gloire emplit l'univers comme les eaux couvrent le fond des mers.

Après la prédiction de la venue du Saint-Esprit, le livre d'Ezéchiel se clôture par la parole sur le partage du territoire parmi les tribus d'Israël. Peut-être c'est une tâche principale d'un peuple de retour. Mais avant cette tâche physique et matérielle, le peuple avait besoin du Saint-Esprit. En tout cas, dans ce partage nous trouvons une structure assez singulière qui dit de frontière d'une tribu de l'est vers l'ouest. Ce serait le sens de l'écriture des Hébreux de droit à gauche. Puis, elle est divisé en deux parties du nord d'abord ensuite du sud, et entre ces deux parties, se situe la description de la ville de Jérusalem. Et cette description est très longue. La raison est que cette terre désigné pour les sacrificateurs Lévites est le centre non seulement géographique, mais aussi le centre spirituel de tout Israël. Cette ville rectangle de 4500 coudées de chaque côté qui a chacun 3 portes selon les noms des tribus sera appelé "l'Eternel est ici." C'est la ville sainte où Dieu demeure. C'est là que demeure le temple de Dieu. Pour le peuple de Dieu, le juste concept de temps et espace est important. Surtout quand il mène la vie de foi digne de Dieu, il en faut un qui est correct. De même que le territoire d'Israël est centripète vers la capitale et le temple, le chrétien doit concentrer son espace autour du temple de Dieu. De même le temps d'un chrétien doit être centripète autour du dimanche, autrement dit Sabbat. Ex 16b nous décrit le sabbat d'Israël. Il a triple objectifs: d'abord de se détacher des affaires du monde, ensuite de rendre culte à Dieu et renouveler l'âme salie et blessée et enfin de lire les livres spirituels et rendre visite à ceux qui ont besoin du Seigneur pour se renouveler l'âme les uns aux autres. C'est un temps central qui se situe deux semaines des affaires du monde, mais un temps le plus important pour un chrétien.
