John 10:22-42
By this morning's word, we can see the work philosophy of Jesus.
- No one will snatch them out of my hand (22-31)
The Phariseen's heart is in suspense. They are as funambulist who walk on a thread, because they haven't faith in Jesus. They don't believe in him and asked miracles again to believe in him. Jesus says that even if he shown miracles, they will not believe, because of their incredulity. But the true reason is that they don't belong to Jesus. They aren't his sheeps. But to these who the Father had given to Jesus, Jesus takes care of them, so that no one be loosen. We must have this faith too to sheep's salvation.

They wanted to stone him, because they said that it's a man who believe is God, and it's a blasphemy. But with patience, Jesus argued that it's not blasphemy, because him and the Father are the same. They are one. It's obvious if we see the works coming to the Father and made by his hand. God named them gods. All the more so, if we focus our glance on Jesus and his works, we will accept that he is God. A lot of people believed. They are the sheeps of Jesus.
Prayer : Lord, help me to have faith to the salvation of sheeps. Make me keep the faith remembering your works.
Bottom line : All the sheeps, without loose any
Jewish people tried to trap Jesus by asking him “if you were the Christ, how long do you hold us in suspends (Jean10:24).
ReplyDeleteFor one, they do not at all believe that Jesus is the lord, the savior and the son of God. They ask those questions to find faults in Jesus and to mock him. Second, no one can be saved automatically just because Christ came! Jesus wants to save us all and he has the capacity to do so. However, we have to firstly become his sheep.
How to become the sheep of Jesus ?
Jesus knows his sheep and with patience he leads the way, the righteous way to the kingdom of God. If we were the sheep of God, we have faith in our perfect shepherd and we FOLLOW him. We obey his words and we strive to become similar to him in every possible ways. Even though to the last days of our life, we remain far from being as good as Jesus, we followed his way all our life with faith and discipline. God will be pleased and we will join Jesus in the kingdom of heaven with the abundance of life.
I pray that God will give me the faith, courage and responsibility to not only imitate the perfect exemplarity of Jesus, but also serving his sheep and brining more to him with love and joy. One word: follow jesus and have faith in the salvation.
