WHY LORD?
Exodus 5: 10-23What happened to the people and to Moses who put their first step to obtain salvation and deliverance predicted by God?
1) Israel was struck to work
Pharaoh ordered that the people don't have any more straw to make bricks, the people must be purchased on its own, but provide the same amount of work. The commissioners of the Israelites were strocken by theirs inspectors.
2) Israel became hateful to Pharaoh
Commissioners complained to Pharaoh, but in vain. They met Moses and Aaron in the path and reproached them for having made odious in the eyes of Pharaoh. The people who lived slavery was afraid of the getting out of Egyptians' eyes. They were living under the daily humiliation they were humiliated at every moment, accustomed to humiliation as one breaths.
3) Moses prayed
As a national ans spiritual leader of helpless people, Moses cried out to God: "Why?". When we want to obtain salvation and deliverance, the difficulties is facing us. With what attitude should we deal with it?
Prayer: Lord, despite the difficulties, we absolutely want to get the exodus, give us faith to overcome present trials
One Word: Do not be afflicted with what you are considered odious things by your friends
