MARIE OBEYS TO THE WORD
Luke 1: 26-38
The author Luc doctor, having discerned the divine will, repeatedly emphasizes the fact that although people are very common, if they are obedient, God raises and uses them. The case of Mary is most telling. The text of today tells us how God works along and what Mary obeys to.

1) God works through the word of God
So that the work that is described herein be completed, God was working for centuries. If we look closely at this text, we can see that for this work trinity commonly works: God the Father (v 26-32), the only Son Jesus Christ (31, 35) and the Holy Spirit (35) . These three persons are working together to realize the words, then nothing is impossible.

2) Marie obeys to the word of God
So that God's will be done for centuries, the person God has chosen as the protagonist was a virgin of the campaign, Marie. But if Mary does not obey the word of God, what will happen? God works powerfully through the person who is obedient to his word. What makes possible the work of God between God and man is: (       ) and (          ).

Prayer: Lord, I think you used greatly whoever obeys your word. Make me become like Mary, an obedient servant to thy word

ANNUNCIATION OF THE BIRTH OF JOHN THE BAPTIST
Luke 1: 7-25
We will reflect on the passage of the annunciation of the birth of Jean B. The announcement of the angel Gabriel to Zacharias and Elisabeth who were barren, was that they would have a child (19). They prayed a lot to have a child but the day of announcement of the baby they could not really believe it. That's why Zacharie underwent the fate of dumb. According to this text, we can see the will of the author which is: from where does a new life come and what is the meaning of this child who comes to earth.

1. Life comes from God (7-25)
The couple Zechariah really wanted to have a baby and when God allowed the child, they could have the child (25). So the baby's life is a gift from God. The parents of the flesh are only receiving this gift from God.

2. A life comes to earth by clothing with a divine will (15-18)
Jean Baptiste will be a subject of great joy for many people. He will be clothed with the Holy Spirit and lead a very pious life (17-18) and above all he will return many of Israel's sons to Jesus Christ. So from the point of view of the author Luc, on Jean-Baptist's head remains a divine will. It is the same for you.

Let us pray: Lord, I convince myself that I came from God and I was born on the earth for the glory of God. Make disappear from my thoughts, my mouth, vocabulary word: death

One Word: A life with meaning

GOD TOLD TO HEAR HIS VOICE
Exodus 23: 20-33
God gives the promise that if the people obey his voice, he would lead them, protect them and make them happy. Let's examine what is the stern command of the Lord, and how that order is concrete. The promises are:

1. God takes care of national affairs (20-23)
If the people obeyed with joy to the command of the Lord, he would become the enemy of their ennemies. What are the enemy nations before them? (23).

2. God deals with the economy and health
God promises that even if the people enter to a foreign country, if they do not rely on the idols but God, God will bless their bread in abundance and will chase the disease (24-26).

3. God is in charge of the policy and army (27-30)
Being desperate in military affair, God promises that He would send hornets to chase the Hittites and the Cannanéens gradually from territory. The reason why the individual or the nation is ruined is that the Lord does not care for them. And the reason why the Lord does not car for them is because they did not obey the voice of the Lord. (Dt 30:20, Luke 9:35).

Prayer: Lord! You want us to obey you, help us to obey your voice, removes the line of 38 degrees latitude of Korea

GOD GIVES SOME LAWS ON SLAVES
Exodus 21: 1-11
Formerly, there were slaves who were sold. Especially in the Third World, there are maids employed for a low price. Today's text teaches us how we should treat slaves, servants, and employees.

1) After a while, you must free the slaves
Formerly, there were slaves dus to several reasons: the war, the debt ... But the Bible tells us that we must give them the freedom after a while. In the Third World, or black market in developed countries, despite apparent Christianity mistreat unfairly servants and other employees.

2) We must take care of clothing and food of servants
When the servant is sold for marriage, the master must takes care of his clothes and his food, his marital rights. If the woman bought for marriage does not please the master, he must still care for her rights. If the master marries other women, she must be given the freedom, and if she wants to stay still, he must look after his rights. For those who are wrongfully oppressed, there is always God's law (Gal 3: 27-28).

Prayer: Lord, help us in many respect this divine law in respect of servants and employees. We pray for those who are wrongfully oppressed. The world is changing, but there are many who are wrongfully oppressed in the third world and the black peoples in certain countries.

One Word: mind food and clothing of servants

GOD SAID TO LOVE OUR NEIGHBOR
Exodus 20: 8-17
Among the Ten Commandments given by God, the first four commands order us to love God, and from the fifth they are commandments that tell us to love our neighbor. They can be summarized in: we must love our neighbors as ourselves (Luke 10: 27). Through this text, we must first reflect on who we should love, and what is the sin of not loving our neighbor.

1) God gives the command that says to keep the Sabbath (8-11)
Verse 8 says we must work hard for six days. welcome the Sabbath after working hard. In general, the Sabbath, the master sits and others such maids work hard. But who must rest on the Sabbath holy?(11) In God there is no distinction.

2) God gives the command not to harm others (12-17)
Verse 12 says to honor parents, and then what kind of man we must not harm? (14-17). If we reflect, we find it is not enough to do no harm to others. If we don't serve and help others positively, we come to the result to harm others. We must love God, love others, and use our material possessions properly. Without love God, we can not love our neighbor (Luke 10: 27-37).

Prayer: Lord, you are the source of love, holiness, help me, according to thy commandment, to love God, love my neighbor.

One word: love commandement (2)

GOD SAID "YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR GOD"
Ex 20: 1-7
After leading his people Israel out of Egypt, God gave the Ten Commandments to his people he loved. When we speak of the Ten Commandments we have tendendy to feel it is very heavy. But when we think of it with prayer, we can summaries in one word: love.

 1) God punishes those who hate (1-5)
God is the God of power with which he delivered Israel from the hand of Pharaoh. It is therefore natural that the people of God do not like material things but he loves his God (Luke 16: 18). Material goods are things that God created. What happen if we love material goods, instead of their Creator. We must love God the Creator. The men make idols with material goods. Materialism today is the greatest enemy of God. How God punishes the idols of material goods? (5)

 2) God blesses those who love him (6-7)
God is full of love for his people out of Egypt, and sacrified his only son all sinners. He must not love material things but to love God with all our heart. So in the end, the commandments are not things very heavy. But the final problem is to love material goods or idols made with them or you love God (Mt 36: 38).

Let us pray: We love the property. Have mercy on us so that we did not like material things but God. Forgive Koreans who don't like missionaries but rather what is in the pocket of the missionaries. Help us to love God with all our heart.
