THE PLAGUE OF FROGS
Ex 8:1-15
The Lord again sent Moses to Pharaoh to say "let my people go, so that they may serve me." Now God showed his power again through the plague of frogs. How will Pharaoh respond?

 1) The plague of frogs (8:1-14)
They had elapsed 7 days after blood wound (7: 25). The LORD struck the Nile River which brings life to Egypt, so the Egyptians passed a very difficult period but it did not touch the heart of Pharaoh which was hardened that yet. Then the LORD sent a plague of frogs. Like the Indians love the ox as a god, the Egyptians worshiped frogs as God. They were completely upset because of this invasion of frogs. Because of this riot of frogs, Pharaoh became the object of criticism of the Egyptians, and he called Moses again to negotiate with him.

 2) Seeing that there was respite
Because of this riot, God showed his power again in the world. At the same time Moses treated the matter with fidelity and magnanimity (10-11). After passing this difficult time, seeing that there was respite, the heart of Pharaoh was still hardened. This text shows that all these plagues came to Pharaoh because he lacked a sense of history. Therefore, all of Egypt was to undergo these plagues (mosquitoes, flies ...).

Prayer: Lord, you are the ruler of history, make sure that the ruler of this world willingly listen to the word of God

One Word: frogs or money are not God
