ISRAEL WAS OPPRESSED
Exodus 1: 1-14
Introduction to the Book of Exodus
in audio.*
Israel went down to Egypt during the
reign of Joseph, where she led a weary life, but God's will is fulfilled.
1) All that generation died
All physical guards disappeared, but
the Israelites children proliferated.
2) The bitter life of Israel
The power of the nation of Israel
was a threat to Egypt. Egypt laid his hard labor to exterminate.
3) The more overwhelmed Israel ...
Israel disappeared? On the contrary,
Israel filled the land, the more they afflicted. In the difficult situation,
the Israelites could not understand the divine will, but there was good will of
God. See Genesis 46: 3. When you cross an overwhelming situation, we grieve
not, seek the will of God.
Prayer: Lord, I believe that the
will that you had put on the people of Israel was very large, like the one you
gave on French expatriates to proliferate
One Word: more they afflicted them,
the more they proliferate
