ISRAEL DEALT WELLE WITH THE MIDWIVES

Exodus 1: 15-22

King Pharaoh oppressed the people through forced labor, but instead Israel diminishes, it continued to grow. The law was not working. In this overwhelming situation, how God helped Israel?

1) If it is a boy, let him die
By fear, Pharaoh had recourse to all necessary measures to meet its goal: the extermination of the people. He thought that the goal justifies all means. Today, those who think that the goal justifies the means are not tyrants, but devils.

2) God dealt well with midwives
Courageously midwives violated the king's command. It's becaus the fear the LORD. That's why their families prospered. God does good to her child who fear him. When God gives grace, it is then that man can do great things. When Israël was in trouble, God helped them. God always helps us in tribulation.

Prayer: Lord, thank you, whatever our situation, you are always there and you help us
One Word: When God gives grace, then we can do great things
