1. Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth
   James identifies the rich as these who reject God's kingdom. This was the thinking trend of that time where many poor are exploited.
2. Patience.
   Patience is firmness. James speaks about Job, he was the richest man, but despite all calamities, he kept faith in God, firm and patient to the end. God blessed him.
3. Prayer has great power
   Jacques speaks about importance of repentance as a condition of healing confessing sins to each other The prayer can also change the current situation, like Elijah.

The book of James speaks often about prayer. Jmes said that if anyone lacks wisdom, he shall ask, and God will give him . He also said that we must examine ourselves to pray without lust in the heart. We must bring our problems to God to be heard.
